Up for sale is an antique Graflex Speed Graphic 4X5 Camera with a Kodak Ektar f:4.7 127MM Lens"22" Karlart. Includes several upgrades including the Graflex "22" film holder and a Kalart Synchronized Viewfinder eye piece. Due to the antique nature of this item there is no way for us to test this camera and know if it is fully functional.
The camera has aged very well and is in overall good condition. The lens does not have any major scratches is very cle...an with no visible scratches or imperfections in normal lighting There are no visible holes or punctures in the bellows. Camera is ALL ORIGINAL and has not been modified cosmetically. The leather has not been replaced or treated with any abusive chemical.
Great display piece or a potentially fully functional camera in the right hands after it has been professionally checked out.
Condition Notes:Handle is secure and all screws are tightTop viewfinder screws have come loose over time. It comes loose when pressure is applied. It could be re-screwed or glued if desired. All knobs turn smoothly. Top viewfinder and Kalart Synchronized Range Finder are clear and you can see through themLens glass is clean and debris/fungus freeBellows slide is smoothThere is a note taped to the bottom of the camera with tape. It was left on the camera because the tape may take the finish off the leather surfaceCould not figure out the lens aperture and the blades are currently fully closed.
I described the camera to the best of my ability given the limited knowledge of antique cameras. The housing is in overall nice clean condition considering the age of the camera and only has the expected marks or wear associated with normal use or aging.
