The Castillo, built from 1672-1695, is the oldest European fort built of stone blocks in the United States. It served primarily as an outpost of the Spanish Empire, guarding St. Augustine, the first perm...anent European settlement, and also protecting the sea route for treasure ships returning to Spain.This full color decal is very good condition with some creasing and curving of the sides, and measures 3 3/8" wide by 4" tall.It will make a rare and interesting addition to any serious collection.
