Antique ZSOLNAY PECS Hungary 13.25" POTTERY JUG VASE Antique ZSOLNAY PECS Hungary 13.25" POTTERY JUG VASE Click image to enlarge Description This large antique piece of pottery was manufactured in the late 1800's by Zsolnay of Pecs... Hungary.
It stands 13-1/4" in height. It measures 1-3/4" in diameter across the top rim, approximately 7" across the widest part, and 3-5/8" in diameter across the base.
The jug has a sturdy handle on one side, five small loops around the neck area, and five blown-out reticulated areas with a gold inner surface.
There are two small flakes to the inner top rim, and all over age-related crazing. The piece does seem to be able to hold water without leaking, but I did not let it sit long.
