This is a superb large original bas-relief gilded panel depicting a Faun with Pipe in a moonlit landscape with a pair of rabbits.I have not been able to identify the artist but it looks of the Art Nouveau, Vienna Secession, Wiener Werkstätte period. It came from an important collection of mostly pre-raphaelite art.It is mounted securely in a frame with a slim mirror surround. Size to the edge of the gilded panel is 80 x 56 cm. It has the label of Rowley the framers in High S...treet Kensington and a property label which is possibly from Sotheby's.The item is located central UK but could be shipped anywhere. Please check costs, It is a heavy item.
