This is a fantastic EstateFresh old Arts & Crafts Art Pottery from a long time collector. This is an awesome piece of Rookwood in the classic " Rook " or Raven - Crow Pin or Trinket dish. It is a William McDonald design, dated 1953 and covered with a beautiful White matte glaze. The Figure is referred to as a " Rook , " a Eurasian crow, but we would just call it a crow or raven. Marks include the Rookwood logo, date and shape pattern # 1139. Excellent origina...l condition. Size is 4 inches high by 7 3/4 inches at the widest point. It has No damage including the beak... perfect. This woman was a long time NE Antique dealer and certainly collected great stuff for herself!! Its a pleasure to sell.
