Circa 1940's Vintage Schwinn Paramount Oscar Wastyn Sr. built Track Racer. FRAME AND FORK only. Serial #279. The frame paint and transfers were restored by Waterford Precision Bicycles, consulting with Richard Schwinn. See picture of Richard at the Waterford factory. Richard stated "the file work on the lugs and flat caps on the stays was an Oscar Sr trait. This would date it earlier than 1947." What is included in the auction.

The only issue with this frame is a small chip in the head tube. See picture. Some. light scratching from axle and bolt friction during the build. I will be keeping the components for future projects.
This is a local. pick up only because I do not have the facilities to safely pack and ship a frame of this quality. Machinery Row in Madison has shipped several collectible vintage bikes for me safely and economically. Please check with them about pricing. They are easy to work with.
