late 19th c Antique GERMAN BLACK FOREST CARVED WOOD WALL PLAQUE.
This charming carving has lots of open work and is made even more interesting as it is angled out away from the wall on the lower half.
The carving is of a tree branch and flowers, and there are two birds placed in beautiful composition to one another.
This carving is overall in nice condition with one bit of damage to one s...ide of the top bird's beak. It is the inside edge so it faces inward luckily and is not very noticeable unless you are looking for it.
Approx measurments: 14 x 4 x 5.5(5.5 is the depth at its deepest part)
I've given this carving a light cleaning but it could use a more detailed cleaning.
