Yep, you are right. These are RARE. This is a California "Bill of Rights" License Plate that was issued to commemorate the 200 Year anniversary of the addition of the Bill of Rights (the first 10 Amendments) to the U.S. Constitution on Dec. 15, 1791.
These are what could be termed a "modern rarity", since there were only a little over a thousand pairs issued. They used to pop up, even pairs of them now and then -- not so much now--everyone wants to hang onto what... they have. This one would not be up for auction if I did not already have one. :) See photos for condition. Very nice plate. Any questions, please contact me prior to bidding.
