Early Japanese Sumida Gawa Glazed Pottery Bowl Circa 1900. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.This beautiful Japanese Sumida-gawa partially dripped glazed pottery bowl with four three-dimensional figures with finely detailed faces peering over the undulating rim, green glazed interior with a multi-colored dripped glazed, orange ribbed exterior and base with incised signature by Inoue Ryosai. It dates to the late Meiji period (1868-1912)
Size: 8 ½" DiameterCondition: good antique cond...ition with reasonable signs of old age. There’s a small repair as can be seen in picture 8, right under the boy figure.
