Original Description:
I have no idea what this plate is all about. But I bought it as a curiosity and it is sold as such.
Was it a factory practice plate for new 1st class china for the Britannic?More Likely it is a mid 19th century try at decorating the plate in honor of the ship.
 The circular white star logo is on the front and not the back with the makers logo. Also features the remnants of a white star line flag in the center.  Ashworth Bros Ironstone Plate.
