Original Description:
Being offered is a very fine massive and heavy old antique 19th century Fijian Kiakavo war club.  This huge club measures 35 1/2” when measured from the bottom of the grip to the first protruded extension.  This club has a wonderful honey brown patina and the surface of the wood has that lovely rippled or wavy effect from being hand carved without the benefit of metal tools.  It has a huge circumference, measuring 7” in circumference about 12” from the bottom grip....  It is in good condition overall with a few blemishes and imperfections one would expect from a club this age.  You can really appreciate its heft when you hold it in your hands.  Very heavy.  This club is meant for business.  Please e-mail with any questions.  Please view my other auctions for a great variety of swords, daggers and tribal art.
