This is a nice vintage small plumb hewing/carpenter's broad axe hatchet head. It is made by Plumb U.S.A. No cracks, edge and poll are in good shape, although it will need sharpening. 4 1/2 inch edge, 5 3/4 inches poll to edge. Anchor brand marking is a bit light. I used chalk to help it stand out. It has no cracks.
There is a bit of white paint on the axe, but it comes off easy enough. I left it in case your method of removi...ng paint is different than mine.
