You are bidding on an Antique ABM BESTHOFF AND SON New York NY Aligator Skin Leather Doctors Bag. It is in overall good used condition for its age. It does show some wear from being used, has some cracking on both ends from it being opened and closed over the years and does have a hole torn in one side, typical wear and tear from being used. The inside leather is in excellent condition and is still soft and supple, there is only one mark on the inside bottom. Still has the original key... and the locking mechanism works as it should. On one side of the locking mechanism it is engraved with the original owners initials and on the other side is stamped with the makers hallmark stamp. On the inside of the bag is marked Besthoff and Son Broadway & 5th Ave N.Y. On the bottom of the bag is Stamped 15 509 and still has all the studs on the bottom. Bag measures about 7 inches wide, 9 inches tall and 15 inches long. This is an exceptional bag for its age and condition. This will make an excellent addition to any Medical Collection.
