Antique 1920's Solid Oak Wall Clock with Westminster Chime.
This is a Antique 1920's Solid Oak Wall Clock with Westminster Chime. This is in excellent condition and is in full working order. This chimes the number of hours on the hour and plays the full westminster chime. It also chimes the first quarter of the westminster tune at quarter past the hour, then the first half of the tune at half past the hour, then finally the first three quarters of the tune at quarter to the hour. Th...e clock has a very elegant appearance with it's solid oak casing. The oak has a dark chestnut coloured finish with a darker grain. The oak has a mild patina, which enhances the appearance of the clock. The face has a white dial with bold, black roman numerals and hands. To the face there are three winding trains. Underneath the face is a pendulum chamber. The pendulum has a wooden rod and metal bob. The door to the front of the clock has bevelled edged glass panels over the pendulum chamber, and a circular glass casing over the face. There are also two glass windows to the side of the face, showing the mechanism behind. All glass is intact and in excellent condition. The back of the clock has a wall hanging bracket.
