2 Vintage Wood Wall Sconces/Candle Holders?

2 Items of interest from my mother-in-law's estate.I will describe them to the best of my ability as I make no claim to be an expert.
Decorative wood wall sconces which make sense as candle holders.The large one is hinged and folds flat. It measures 14" by 8 3/4" by 5 3/4". Has original brass hinges, although 2 screws were replaced and appears to made of mahogany. The number '360' is stamped on the bottom of the shelf.The small sconce seems to have been hand made as it has marginal ...symmetry, unlike the large one.Of interest though, is the use of square head nails to hold it together. It measures 8 by 6 by 3 3/4.I tried to capture as much as I could photographically.
