CORVETTE 50TH ANNIVERSARY LIMITED EDITION CAPS / HATSMatched Number Set #1269 The"Limited Edition, Numbered Caps" sold out in Nashville at the Corvette 50th AnniversaryBash in an insane pace! If you weren't there on Friday with $35.00 for eachcap..... forget it..... not a chance! Thesesuperb Limited Edition Corvette caps match the 1953 Vette and the 2003 Vettepaint/interior schemes. There were 1, 953 produced of the white and red cap (1of 1953 ...up to 1953 of 1953) and 2, 003 produced (1 of 2003 up to 2003 of 2003)of the cranberry and black cap (see pictures). Each is individually numberedand embroidered on the left side with that number. The front of the caps areembroidered and the right side features a bronzed 50th Anniversary logo. Depicted Images are from previous auctions... Rest assured that You will indeed be getting matched numbers "1269"! Thesecollector caps are made of brushed cotton twill, and the bill features the 50thlogo embossed in a leather-like material. The back strap is adjustable with ametal slide buckle. The 1953 cap includes the 50th logo embroidered on theback, and the 2003 cap includes 50th Anniversary script on the back. One sizefits all. So hereis the legal stuff. The caps were commissioned by Summit Marketing (thru TheCorvette 50th Store) for the Nashville50th Anniversary Celebration. They are brand new, never worn, and officiallylicensed (B10120) by GM...All trademark tags and placards are still in place.These are the only "OFFICIAL LIMITED EDITION NUMBERED HATS" producedand are not available anywhere except on the secondary market. The original capdistribution system was never intended to supply specific numbers or"matched pair" type marketing. That, is where my services come in. I have put together a "Corvette LimitedEdition Cap Registry". This is an attempt to try to bring collectorstogether (if desired). All information will be kept confidential (no selling ofnames, lists, unsolicited e-mails, or SPAM). Only information that will bereleased (if desired) is to the cap owners "cap mate". This couldlead to a cap owner possibly striking up a friendship or purchasing the"other cap"! I currently have in my database the whereabouts of about2700 of the caps! Who knows...
