In the style of a medieval drinking vessel or black jack, a large mug with sterling silver rim and foot, a copper interior and thick leather body and handle, 7 1/4 inches high, about 7 1/2" over the handle, with a 5 1/2" diameter foot, with a 3 5/8" inner diameter at the top rim expanding toward the base so it might do well as a wine bottle cooler (measure your wine bottle please), with a sterling shield engraved "HACKENSACK GOLF CLUB FROM UNCLE TOM AUGUST 8 1908 WON BY" - the winner n...ever filled in, marked "STERLING AY454" with the Gorham trademark, the leather cracked and patchy but strong, the metal portions in good condition without dents, breaks or repairs.
