Antique Embossed Frigid Embalming Fluid Bottle with Original Label ca. 1895-1915.This great old bottle is in excellent condition, shiny and clean with no chips or cracks. There are several bubbles in the glass, and it includes an old & probably original cork. I'm dating the bottle to 1915 or before, due to the hand-finished neck and lip. I acquired the piece from the estate of a Civil War reenactor who specialized in portraying the undertaker at battle recreations....As nice as this bottle is, the real star of the show is its scarce, intact original label, in very good condition. It's complete except for a couple of very small holes (see photos), and looks quite fresh, with just some light stains and toning from age. What a great addition to either a specialized mortuary collection, or just a general collection of antique bottles.
