For your consideration is a Large wonderful Antique Japanese Meiji Period High- Relief Moriage Pottery Satsuma Incense Burner with Lid. It is beautifully decorated, glazed and gilded. Vibrant colors. Highly detailed Moriage piece.
Condition -- Very good for the age, no hairlines, no cracks and no repairs, only has small chips on rim of the lid, on Foo-Dog's teeth on the top of lid, and a tiny area loss of gilt on body as last six photos shown.
