Description: Here for auction is this Scarce antique Union Silver Co silverplate pickle castor! Very nice late 19th C Eastlake design with overall squared form; the base resting on 4 feet. The glass jar is also squared, and incorporates the matching leaf design in the silverplate. The metal is marked with the Union Silver Co logo shown, and also tripleplate. This is quality, SCARCE collector's item here! Please see our other listings for more very nice Victorian pickle... castors from this same quality estate collection! Condition: No chips, cracks or repairs. Just typical antique wear. It's tarnished, but this piece should polish up easily. The included tongs may not be original, but are of the period.
