Original Description:
A very good condition 10 inch tambourine with 14 double rows of jingles, a very clean and intact drum skin with possibly a tack or two missing, shown in photos.  Red painted wood, very durable and very loud.  Stamped on the bottom of the ski9n in an ink circle SALVATION ARMY STANDARD.  A rare find.  Photo shown is not part of the auction, it is just for reference and shows a late 19th centurt girl with a Salvation Army bonnet holding a similar tambourine.
