This is an original antique (late 19th century) 4 gallon stoneware crock with salt glaze on the outside, Albany slip glaze on the inside, and bold cobalt target decoration on the front. I don't know who the maker is, possibly Red Wing.
The crock has a tiny flake on the inner top edge and one hairline on the side that has been glued and the repair is super solid and not obvious (no visible glue). The remainder of the crock looks excellent and it displays beautifully.
