MADE IN JAPAN VINTAGE DOLL HOUSE KITCHEN TABLE & CHAIR WOOD TOP - WIRE LEGSI am still continuing into more of my late sister's collections. This was probably her second passion, dollhouses and dollhouse furniture, with her number one passion being Paper Dolls. I will do my best to describe items but keep in mind I really know nothing about the subject other than what I can find on the internet. It will not upset me at all if someone more knowledgeable that me on ...the subject cares to add some input.This is a rather UNIQUE PIECE OF FURNITURE AND THE CHAIR IS MARKED THAT IT WAS MADE IN JAPAN. This table and chair is VERY SIMILAR to the MINIAFORM and LINCOLN Doll House Furniture made in the late 1930's and early 1940's. These are rather small pieces as the wood top of the table is 2 3/4 inches square. The table is 1 11/16 inches high with the chair seat only 15/16 inches high. The table is not marked but the Chair does have an inkstamp on the bottom of it that reads, 'Made in Japan'. The paint on both pieces show wear just because of its age.
