This auction is for a sealed antique dybbuk box. This box has been around a very long time. Its first owner was a collector of odd things and dabbled in such things as the occult and black magic. No one knows where he got the box but he always referred to it as his "pet demon." One night during a seance with some of his associates, a demonic voice told him that if he didn't release the demon from the box, he would die soon and his spirit would serve the demon in the box for eternity. H...e dismissed the demon as a liar shouting that a demon locked in a box couldn't harm him. Several days later, he was found dead in his home. His eyes were missing and were never found.
The box eventually ended up in the hands of family that lived not too far away from where that horrible incident took place. The family consisted of a man, his wife, and their 6 yr old daughter. They bought the box from a street merchant and upon returning home, they couldn't open the box because it was sealed. They didn't want to damage it so they used it as part of their home decor. Soon, the daughter began having nightmares and complaining that a man with no eyes keep trying to get her to open the box. Fed up with the whole ordeal and anxious to put a halt to his daughter's fear, he buried the box in their backyard. The little girl slept without incident that night but when the family awakened the next morning, all of the water faucets were on and instead of water coming out, it was a liquid resembling blood coming out. When news spread around town about what happened, some people felt like the family had be hexed. A priest was summoned to come to the home and he blessed the house and removed the box. The box was never seen again for many years until now.
I have been asked not to say where I got the box from. I do not keep it in my house. I have put it in my storage unit because it is too much for me to handle. I kept it in my house the first day I acquired it and later that day l laid down for a nap and awakened to a severe migraine. I tried to get up but I literally could not move. It was like sleep paralysis times 10 because pain was involved. I could open my eyes but they hurt so bad. I kept hearing a voice yell at me in a different language that I could not understand. I was sweating but I felt something go past me and I felt a coldness from it. I could not see it though because it was so dark. I passed out and when I awoke it was daylight again. I had a slight headache but everything was back to normal. The box was on the dresser next to my bed, which wasn't where I had placed it and I had 3 scratch marks across my chest. So thats why I keep that darn box in my storage unit.
