Please email any questions, and HAPPY BIDDING!For your consideration, this SUPER-SWEET vintage 70s/80s custom-made applique quilt in a FABULOUS, FARMHOUSE version of the Sunbonnet Sue pattern, this one including Overall Sam and a garden full of harvest vegetables -- this is one BEAUTIFUL quilt that will dress up any bed any time of year, but would be absolutely PERFECT for fall with the four large pumpkins on it! -- VIBRANT jewel-tones and multi-colors placed against a creamy background -- sashed and corner-posted in SWEET tiny print florals -- all nice-quality 100% cotton fabrics that were chosen just for the making of this quilt -- very lightly batted with what feels like a nice-quality cotton/poly blend (one that won't migrate easily thru the fabric) -- the quilt measures 68" x 70", not counting the ruffle -- nice straight edges, and a wide eyelet-lace ruffle has been added all the way around -- backed in the same tan tiny print floral used for the corner posts on the front -- the quilt was machine-pieced and then hand-appliqued and embellished with tiny ribbons and button -- then hand-quilted in a tiny grid and following the pattern of the appliques at 6-7 teeny stitches per inch -- everything EXTREMELY well-executed -- lots of time, planning and talent went into this one, and the quilt lays nice and flat -- VERY EXCELLENT vintage/pre-owned condition -- light wear/gentle usage -- strong, sturdy, everything intact -- colors CRISP and VIBRANT -- NICE and CLEAN with a couple of tiny age spots and some very faint color bleed next to the darkest red fabric -- not distracting in the overall scheme of things and should lift with some spot-treatment and a cold-water wash -- no other issues to report -- a hand-made BEAUTY! -- a true collector's piece....and the price is right!
