SENTINEL ELECTRONICS INC. ME-26D/U VACUUM TUBE MULTIMETER MILITARY SURPLUS. Condition is Used.
Up for sale is a used vintage surplus Sentinel Electronics, Inc.Model ME-26D/U Multimeter. This is avacuum tube multimeter used in the Armed Forces including the US Army and AirForce. Interesting note on this machineis that it’s stamped with an additional stamp stating Overhauled Tobyhanna ArmyDepot with either a serial number or possible date for the overhaul.... As I have no real experience with thesemultimeters, I cannot confirm complete operation but I have powered the unit upand the needle does move between selections and can be manually adjusted withthe ohms and zero adjustment knobs. Conditionis used and it will need a new power cord as the original is extremely brittleand the insulation on both the positive and negative are crumbling leaving exposedwires. Three pronged 110 volt replacementpower cords can easily be picked up at most hardware stores. Shipped USPS with insurance and tracking to the US.
