A lovely set of 6 Flow Blue Henry Alcock "Touraine" dinner plates. They measure 10-inches in diameter.
The plates are in good condition considering their age. They have no chips or cracks, and they present very nicely.
Some have some fading, particularly on the golden rim. All have some crazing and some flaws on the backs, which you can see in the photos. One of the plates has a very deep craze line (only visible on the back). It may be an internal crack, but it's smo...oth to the touch. The integrity doesn't seem compromised.
Photo 9 shows the manufacturer's marking. Photo 10 shows the 'craze' / 'internal crack' that's present on one of the plates. Photo 11 shows an example of the marks on the back where glaze is missing; the final photo shows some of the crazing that you can expect within this set.
Overall, a lovely set with very bright colors that's in good condition. They would make a great addition to any Touraine flow blue collection.
