Attributed to Art Metal Works (Ronson), Newark, N.J. Circa 1930's. This wonderful deco lady is laying on her stomach with arms stretched out in front of her, and legs stretched out in back of her. She is holding large bowl with a duck/swan head on the front. Also, this wonderful deco lady is wearing an Egyptian revival headdress and collar. She is made of some kind of metal with a dark black finish - a magnet will not stick to her. The overall measurement is 13-1/2 long, 2-1/8" wide, and 3-1/4" tall. There are no signatures or manufacture marks that we could find, but according to the book, she is a Ronson piece, made by Art Metal Works. The condition is amazingly very good with only minor wear on bottom: felt pad/stoppers still attached to guarantee the piece will set properly. She looks stunning, and will hold incense with no problem. The estimated value was $250.00 to $350.00 according to the "Collector's Guide to Art Deco" She has a great deco look.
