Sixth-plate sealed daguerreotype in full case with separated covers.
The underside of the glass is pretty dirty, but from what I can tell there is
no scratch, ding, or abrasion type damage.
It appears that all of the spots are on the glass except one little speck of
possible green corrosion and associated tarnish, down by his hand. I'm
not 100% certain it's corrosion but go ahead and assume it is. The case
is complete and i...n very nice condition with both clasps and matching
original covers.
