Jacob Sazama started carving fish decoys at the age of 14. He began entering decoy contests in 2001 and has won multiple awards, including a 'Best in Show". He made this decoy in 2005. It is numbered #157. This trout has amazing detail, especially in the head and tail area. I hope that my photos do it justice. It is just shy of 6" long and weighted to swim. Jacob takes realism in fish decoys to the next level. His carving and painting translate... into fish that look so real it is crazy. A true talent. This is a fish that I purchased personally from Jacob and it is in pristine mint condition.
