Original Description:
Here is a very nice French Model 1874 Gras Sword Bayonet in very good conditionfor age. Scabbard has a couple of tiny dents and a few small scratches but nicecolor and no rust. Blade and scabbard have matching numbers. Look at the pictures, this is the Bayonet you will receive if you win the bid. Top of blade is marked, Mre d'Olrmes   Mfg. at the armory at ST. ETIENNE Feb. 1878Look at the last two pictures, brass was modified to fit a different rifle?
