GOOD ANTIQUE NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PLAINS BEADED BEADWORK STRIP Dr. Black Coll.
I will be selling a good number of interesting antiques including Tribal art, Chinese and European antiques. PLEASE NOTE: This auction is in GB Pounds Sterling.I am selling quite a few antiques and collectables from all parts of the world this week so please view my other auctions. This is a... good simple antique Plains Indian beadwork strip or belt with ties. It comes from the Dr. Alan Black collection of Native American beadwork. The last photo of the group shows it with other fine beadwork pieces from the same collection which I will be selling separately.***I usually ship from the UK but am posting from Belgium this time and so it may be possible for me to find more reasonable shipping options (using DPD or similar) depending on your location so please don't hesitate to get in touch for a quote and I will do what I can.***It is my policy not to end standard auctions early with a 'buy it now' and at the end of an auction I will not make second chance offers. Please read down the entire listing for Dimensions, Condition, Postage & Payment Details - most of the information you will need is here on this page but please get in touch if you don't find what you are looking for. Condition & Dimensions
Good overall condition. The main central section is in very good condition but the trip is missing quite a few of its small red beads. It measures about 65cms long (not including the ties) by just over 3cms wide.
Postage & Packing
I will be posting from Belgium from TUESDAY 7TH JULY so please make payment as early as possible, ideally within 3 working days. PLEASE be a little patient with the post - I will get them posted asap but I work on my own, have a large amount to post and I do pack carefully. I also post in the order that things are paid for. Any delays by the postal services either at my end or abroad are rarely my fault. I always post out at the latest 3 working days after receiving cleared payment but sometimes an item is slowed up by a backlog of post or delayed whilst being processed through customs. To give you an idea it generally takes about 3-7 working days within Europe and 7 - 14 working days to the U.S. / rest of the world. If speed is of the essence then I can use a courier but prices for couriers start at around £30 / £40GBP for the very smallest object and VERY quickly escalate depending on size, weight and destination. I add on very little, often not enough to cover the packaging materials, so the price I quote really is as fair as possible.
UK: : BPOST Postage from Belgium (3-5 working days): £8.50 GBP. Belgium: :BPOST Bpack Secur 24hr: £8.50 GBP. Europe & United States: BPost BPack World Light: £8.50 Rest of the world: .BPOST Bpack World Light: £12.50 Please do not ask me to falsify customs documents, thank you.
***Any import duties or taxes applicable are payable by the Buyer. Please enquire with postage queries, requirements or any other questions you may have prior to bidding.***Where possible I will of course combine shipping for multiple purchases (however if, for example, you win a walking stick and a box of some description this wouldn't be very practical!).Payment Details (Important: Please Read)
UK & Europe: PayPal, Bank Transfer (in GBP or EURO), GBP Cheque.
Rest Of The World: PayPal only.
In the event of a recorded/traceable and insured item going missing in the post I will do everything in my power (provide proof of postage and evidence of value, etc.) to assist in obtaining a full refund from the postal service involved.
***Finally, thank you for taking a look at my auction and please have a look at the other antiques I am auctioning this week including a number of pieces of tribal art including Native American, African and Aboriginal antiques; several European works of art including items of treen and carved coconuts, coquilla nuts, pipes, snuff boxes etc; some Japanese, Tibetan and Chinese antiques; and many more interesting antiques from around the world.***
