Rare, original WWI 1917 Boy Scouts of America pinback Gardening medal presented to Boy Scouts for raising food. The requirements were so hard in the "Every Scout to Feed a Soldier" campaign that only 214 of these medals were earned that year. It consists of the original green ribbon with bronze medal showing a Scout hoeing. About 1 5/8" vertical length, by 1 1/4" width.
