CATALINA ISLAND POTTERY PLANTER AND TRAY FROM WRIGLEY ESTATE LAKE GENEVA

This is a Catalina Island Pottery set of a planter and a planter tray. They are in the Descanso Green glaze and both are made of red clay. The planter / vase is about 7 inches tall and the top diameter is 8 inches. The tray is about 13 inches in diameter and about 1 1/2 inches tall. The vase has a flea bites on the rim and a small chip on the inside of the vase (see pictures). The tray has 2 flea bites on the rim (see pictures). These two pieces were... purchased together at an estate sale at one of the Wrigley homes on Lake Geneva, WI in the 80's. I actually got about 15 pieces of Catalina at that sale. (No one in Wis had any clue to what it was). As I have been thinning out my collection of Island pieces, I have sold a number of the pieces I got that day. I have been trying to decide if I should separate the two and sell them individually or leave them as a set. For now I am going to leave them together. I will include a letter stating where I got these for for provenance if the buyer wants. These are both hard pieces to find and to find a set from the Wrigleys'........
