Vintage 40-50s ROYAL DOULTON Toby Character Mug Jug GRANNY "A" MARK 3-3/8" D6384Vintage early Royal Doulton small size 3-3/8" tall "Granny" Toby Character mug jug 2nd design with one tooth.The design number is believed to be D6384.
Circa 1941-1955 (Between 1939-1955 jugs were marked with a green A on the base to denote the type of kiln it needed to be fired in. This was discontinued in 1955 when coal burning kilns were banned. Furthermore since the is the 2nd design with one tooth ...which was issued from 1941-1983, this means this piece was produced sometime between 1941-1955).Designed by: Harry Fenton.Made in England.Condition: In excellent condition.
