This is a early antique / vintage E.F. Johnson SPEED-X telegraph key / bug. The base measures approx. 8 inches by 3 1/2 inches, and 2 1/2 inches high (bottom to highest point).  Black double paddle.  Black painted base with silver or nickel plated fittings.  The top plaque reads

E.F. JOHNSON CO. WASECA, MINN. SPEED-X CAT. NO. 114-500 SEMI-AUTOMATIC MADE IN U.S.A.

  This looks very similar in style to a couple of Vibroplex Key / Bug models.  Wh...at you see is what you get.  Would make a nice addition to ones collection.  NO RESERVE SO BID WITH CONFIDENCE !!!  Buyer pays S&H.
