This wonderful piece does not appear to ever have been polished and has a lot larger sterling piece than most of Otto Heintz works. The sterling work starts at the very bottom of the bronze and goes up about 7/8 of the way to the top! The silver also covers more than half of the vase from side to side. It is marked AMS 3586B Sterling on Bronze PAT. AUG. 27, 12. There is a different color in the bronze (lower right side front), that looks like a dent in some of the photos-it is not a de...nt.
