UP FOR AUCTION IS THIS VINTAGE CIRCA EARLY 1900`S ADVERTISING  SMALL SAD IRON PIN CUSHION FOR THE DETMER WOOLEN COMPANY. THIS CUTE SMALL SAD IRON IS MADE OF METAL WITH A BLACK WOODEN HANDLE AND IT IS 4" LONG BY 1 7/8" WIDE BY 3" HIGH. IT HAS ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE DETMER WOOLEN COMPANY ON BOTH SIDES AS SHOWN AND IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THIS COMPANY BEGAN BUSINESS IN THE 1800`S AND IT WENT ON UNTIL AT LEAST THE 1920`S. THIS IS A SCARCE ADVERTISING COLLECTIBLE AND IT WOULD MAKE... A GOOD PAPERWEIGHT OR IT COULD STILL BE USED AS AN UNUSUAL PIN CUSHION.
