Original Description:
Sweet little carving of a walrus peering out of the water. Tiny scrimshaw style nares and eyes. Looks like some finials to baleen baskets I've seen. Came off some item as is evidenced by the small holes at the base. Approximately 1 1/8 inches tall by 3/4 inches (at base). Weighs 8 gm on a postal scale.
My sincerest apologies for the listing pull and re-list... the item specifics stated larger dimensions... This is a tiny piece.
