From the studio of world famous circus and sideshow photographer Charles Eisenmann is this amazing original cabinet photo of an adult and infant elephant. If you do your research I can guarantee that you won't find this image anywhere in recent history. I've seen quite a few of Eisenmann elephant photos but not this particular version. It does have condition issues as you can see and is quite faded and not in great condition but it simply has to be saved and put with a collection of th...is man's work.
On the reverse of the cabinet card in faint pencil can be read "Babar and Baby" and they're also appears to be the stamp of a previous owner whose name I cannot quite make out.
