This antique pair of vases are marked on the bottom W.S. & S (79’). Wilhelm Schiller and Son operated out of Bohemia in the late 1800s and early 1900s... they were a major maker of Majolica Pottery. This pair are hand painted and floral in decor. They do show some signs of wear in the forms of scratches and one spot near the top of one of the vases that has the remnants of glue from a possible price sticker from an antique shop. Other that that they have wonderful color, are in g...reat shape and have a very nice presence in a room. They are the same exact size and are around a foot tall each.
