This is a REAL PHOTO Postcard that is postally unused. It is titled "THE DODGER " and was a booth where fairgoers could pay to throw a pie at a black man. The game at that time was also known as "HIT THE NIGGER" (these are NOT my words, but fact). This was at the State Fair in Berlin, Connecticut on September 14 to 17, 1909. The man's name is "smoke"
