Vintage Royal Albert Crown China Teacup And Saucer Imari “ALHAMBRA” pattern. A treasure from my Hampton Cabinet collection, this lovely Imari duo in the the elegant ALHAMBRA pattern is in excellent pre-loved condition with no cracks, chips or crazing. In a dark cobalt blue with soft oranges in cartouches outlined in gold, this duo recalls the wealthy abundance that was the original Alhambra, ( an exotic palace, fortress and citadel founded in Andalusia in Grenada, Spain by the Blac...kamoors in AD889 where its orchards and gardens were the solace of its Grenadine kings). The photos are provided for your guidance and are part of the description. I had always planned to try to collect a full tea-set in this enchanting rare pattern, but have been overtaken by time, and now, lack of space. Sent with Australia Post Standard with tracking. As my happy buyers can attest, I pack very carefully and use new post boxes for added protection for my treasures.
