One Stanley no 2 corrugated Plane in, well here is where I am at a loss for words, adjectives to be more precise. When currently on Ebay mint is being used to describe a no 2 that has been sanded to within an inch of its life, very good condition has been used to describe a rust bucket and extremely clean is being used instead of moderately filthy for a third and all adjectives to describe an above average plane are being used to describe below average planes what is an honest pe...rson to use to describe what I would call a decent or good user but not collectible no 2 such as the one above?
No loss for words there. I sell a lot of different stuff on Ebay and I do not know why but the Stanley plane category has the most shameless neck deep BS when it comes to giving honest descriptions of listings I have come across. How can you do that and still have a good rating or better yet look at yourself in the mirror.
I woke up this morning hoping to list this plane for 275 but after seeing the garbage being sold for 300 I cant do it. And that is the price we pay for supporting this kind of nonsense. So I will take the shortcut eveyone else does and say "see photos for description" but at least I am doing it because its 3:50 in the morning and I have been working on planes since 6 am yesterday and would like to go to bed. Rather than just because I can not think of away to over hype my item.
