20 " Vintage Sweet Sue American Character Doll In Sunday Best Outfit Revlon Era

This listing is for a 20" American Character Sweet Sue vintage flex foot fashion doll dressed in the outfit "Sunday Best." She also has her original ballet accessories. This doll and her accessories are in very good to excellent vintage condition. Sweet Sue has just below shoulder length strawberry blonde hair in its original style: pulled up on the sides with bangs. She has pink silk flowers and ribbon in her hair. She has bright blue open/close eyes that work well. She has... a very pretty complexion, painted eyelashes under her eyes, full outer lashes, and nice lipstick. She has vintage pearl earrings and no green ear. She is wearing her Sunday Best outfit. This includes a creamy white sheer nylon dress with a fitted bodice, puffed sleeves and full gathered skirt. The elastic in the sleeves is relaxed. The bodice is trimmed in lace and a pink velvet bow with rhinestone at the neck. The skirt has hand painted pink swirls on the skirt. She has a full under slip in light pink taffeta, trimmed in lace and net ruffles at the hem along with new light pink satin tap-style panties, vintage hose, and vintage gold glitter kitten heels. The nylon dress and slip have been repaired, but nicely done. She also has her original ballet accessories: a black leotard, black ballet shoes (replaced ties) and black patent flat slippers. They are in a sheer pouch so she can keep up with them. This doll is jointed at the neck, arms, waist, hips and ankles. Her skin tone is pretty and evenly colored.
