ON NOVEMBER 22, 1963, TAYLOR WAS IN THE THIRD VEHICLE BEHIND KENNEDY’S LIMOUSINE WHERE HE WITNESSED AND TESTIFIED ON PRESIDENT KENNEDY’S ASSASSINATION
Taylor served in the Secret Service for over 20 years from 1961 to 1982. On November 22, 1963, he was on assignment in Dallas working as a Special Agent on Vice Presidential detail to protect Lady Bird Johnson. Taylor was in the third vehicle behind the Kennedy’s limousine in the Presidential motorcade. He witnessed President Kennedy’s assassination and later testified on the events of the tragic day.
