ANTIQUE 18K GOLD GARNET & ROSE CUT DIAMOND SCENT BOTTLE FOB / PENDANT c1800s
An antique solid 18 carat gold (tests thereabouts) fob / pendant; finely made, with a sprung button hinged lid, set with a garnet cabochon surrounded by glistening rose-cut diamonds, and opening to reveal space a scent bottle. High quality & immensely collectable!CONDITION: All original. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Small dent to base. Inner glass bottle both broken and&nbs...p;stuck in place.DATE/MARKS: Late 19th Century. Signed to the inner lid 'Gueudet'.DIMENSIONS: 56 mm long (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
