You may wish to consider bidding on this Vintage "Grampus" Model Bamboo Fly Rod made by the Kiraku Co. Inc. , Occupied Japan, Tokyo with very special construction, absolutely unused and in superb mint operational and physical condition. What makes it so very special, is that the 4 sections, Butt Reel Seat Section, Mid Section, and 2 identical tips have all been totally and tightly thread wound over the entire six sided Bamboo providing absolute strength and flexibility with...out adding noticeable weight and retaining straightness especially the tips. To fully visualize the windings, by enlarging the photos should make this clear. 3 sections to include 1 tip weighs approx. 4-5 oz. The section lengths measure as follows: Real Seat Butt Section -33", Mid Section-33", (2) Identical Tip Sections-32 1/2". The Ferrules and Guides are all Stainless Steel. 6 sided Bamboo Case reads: Grampus Bamboo Case. Other tags can be read by viewing the pictures. With all sincerity, this is an absolute beauty and would serve well as a user or collector piece in superb as mentioned before, unused condition and you would not be disappointed. Finally, the cloth case is in as intended condition.
