Though unmarked, this single-wick burning fluid lamp is surely from the Boston area, because it is a scaled-down version of two larger and much more common sizes found with twin-wick burners and marked by Smith & Co. and its successors Morey & Ober of that town, ca. 1840s-1850s. Height to burner = 2 5/8"Scarce, with its original burner and complete with pewter cap and chain.
