First Generation Wilton No.4 4" jaw width vise. Date code on keyway 1945No casting issues or cracks. Stripped it down to bare metal, cleaned, removed light surface rust and primed/painted it a nice early Wilton green.1st generation straight jaw inserts are in good shape for a 1945 vise.Removed the jaw inserts, cleaned them up. Threads are in excellent shape and put in new jaw screws so the next owner can easily remove them if needed.This vise will serve its new owner for ...many, many years.
